Enlightened and extremely beautiful Anna Brown talks about the illusion of ego, the perception of identity, the irrational fear of death, and that all life is energy expressed and shared. There's no need to trademark, patent, or own anything when we reach a state where we are free in our minds, causing our external chains to also break away. Once we unveil the mask or the disguise keeping us from our true selves, then our physical environment sheds its mask and we see reality as it is truly meant to be seen: a garden paradise.

I've seen this concept expressed in the Bible when God "curses" Adam and Eve for consuming the "fruit" of false ideology, asking them why they are covering up their nakedness. Their shame from exposing themselves didn't hide them and they still had to deal with the consequences of their new distorted mental state. This theme is also repeated several times in The Devil's Advocate where Kevin, who plays the anti-Christ, is tested again and again by the devil disguised as a reporter. A striking scene is where John Milton, playing the role of Satan, challenges Kevin's ego, causing Kevin to explode in rage, "lose?! I don't lose! I win! That's my job, that's what I do!" to which Milton replies, "I rest my case. Vanity is definitely my favorite sin. Kevin, it's so basic; self-love, the all natural opiate." This implies the ego is the false projection of self and is what we place our foundational beliefs on. Once we shed this and get in touch with our soul, then we can see the world and all its creatures in a healthier light. We can operate in grace instead of karma. All we need is love.
