Israeli President Isaac Herzog has issued a grim warning about the “empire of evil” in the Middle East and the “real challenge” it poses to Europe and the world.

Mr Herzog sat down with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan for a wide-ranging interview to discuss Hamas’ barbaric attack on October 7, the rise of anti-Semitism and the backlash over Israel’s bombings in Gaza.

The Israeli President warned European leaders about the “culture of hate” that Hamas and other terrorist groups want to bring in around the world.

“We have alerted the entire universe and family of nations that there is an empire of evil from Tehran emanating with the whole culture of hate to eradicate all of us,” he said.

“I say to my friends all over the world, especially in Europe: Guys if it weren’t for us, Europe would be next.”
