Blekinge, Sweden - A region on a Mission

Blekinge struggles with an image of being a small and remote region, away from urbanism and financial flows. We do have a great surrounding nature, a beautiful archipelago and very future oriented people, companies and organisations. So we thought, why not turn it around? What if our size, remoteness and our closeness to nature actually could be an advantage? This is where the road towards becoming a region on a mission began.

Blekinge â€“ a Region on a Mission premiered at Sweden Innovation Days during Expo 2020 Dubai, an event with participants from 88 countries. The movie describes Blekinge as a county and the companies within the region, but most of all it describes the will to contribute to a better world.
