Many won't speak out about the Jews. Why?

John 7:13: "Yet no one would speak publicly about Him for fear of the Jews." This verse highlights the prevailing fear of the Jewish authorities among those who might have spoken openly about Jesus.
John 19:38 "Afterward, Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus (but secretly, for fear of the Jews), asked Pilate to let him remove the body of Jesus." This verse reveals Joseph's secret discipleship due to his fear of Jewish authorities.
John 20:19: "The doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews..." This passage depicts the disciples hiding behind closed doors, fearing the Jewish authorities who had been involved in Jesus' crucifixion.
John 9:22: "His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews." This verse indicates that the parents of the blind man were hesitant to publicly acknowledge Jesus' teachings out of fear of repercussions from the Jewish authorities.
