On Friday, March 10, DiEM25 co-founder and MeRA25 leader, Yanis Varoufakis, was brutally beaten up while having dinner with members of DiEM25's Coordinating Collective. Now he appeared in public again for the first time, commenting on the attack and also talking about the current mass protests of mainly young people in Greece, sparked by the train crash near Tempi but far from stopping there.

Political disenchantment, distrust, or disgust with the political system and politicians - these issues are relevant beyond Greece and may eventually boil over in other countries as well.

We are campaigning for a different kind of politics: https://diem25.org
