Protesters Demanding Israel Cease-Fire Chain Themselves to White House

A handful of protesters demanding a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas chained themselves to the White House fence on Monday.

Carrying a “Jewish Elders to Biden: Stop the Genocide, Ceasefire Now!” sign, 18 protesters made their presence known by chanting while secured to the barrier. The demonstration was organized by the group Jewish Voice for Peace. .

U.S. Park Police and Secret Service officers responded to the protest. USPP issued citations and released the protesters.
