White Jews: An Intersectional Approach

This is ENCATEÂ´s 25th Lunch Talk and the first of the intersectionality talk series.

Applying both "intersectionality" and "whiteness" to Jews is controversial within many segments of the Jewish community. However, David Schraub suggests in this talk that an intersectional approach offers the best way of understanding the dynamic relationship between Jewishness and Whiteness and can help illuminate elements of the Jewish experience that would otherwise remain obscure.
