And so it’s done! We at Militant Zone are extremely proud of this collaboration with our French brothers-in-arms. A complete mutual understanding that we have reached with Famine from the very first day when he suggested to make a new video for Peste Noire, allowed us to accomplish all of our ambitious creative plans. Three days of intense filming, several months of arduous post-production were completely worth it! More than 450 people from all over Europe came to the screening premiere – this takes the radical scene to a whole new level! We don’t hide, we push the limits.

Here is a couple of words from Famine himself:

“Usually, when it comes to PN, I handle everything from A to Z: be it composition, recording, or distribution. But this time it was paradise because there was nothing I needed to do, except for my own performance. Just a couple of words with Militant Zone upon my arrival on the overall “feeling” I wanted to capture was enough to get everything done exactly as I dreamt, on an almost Hollywood scale. I know Militant Zone for their professionalism, dedication and perfectionism. However, too much seriousness and pomp just wouldn’t do for Peste Noire. These guys managed to grasp this wild, moronic, Gypsy-trash spirit of Peste Noire very well, and I do appreciate such a flexible approach.

The filming itself was just awesome! Two super professional film crews, disciplined as if they were in SS, and the guys from M8L8TH giving their all and driving the crowd batshit crazy! What else to say? Imagine riding an old black clunker in central Kiev with a muffler dragging on the road, leaving a trace of sparks behind. No plates (!), but with a huge KPN logo on the hood, and a bunch of armed thugs in balaclavas on the back seat! Where else would cops look the other way but in Ukraine?”
