Notre mémoire nationale confisquée Qui connaît la date du 4 avril 1943? Ce jour-là, Paris et sa banlieue subirent un grave bombardement qui toucha les civils innocents et qui fit bien plus de victimes civiles que les attentats du 13 novembre 2015. Dans cet éditorial, Vincent Reynouard raconte, documents à l’appui, ces heures terribles: la mort qui frappe, le travail acharné des sauveteurs pour tenter d’arracher à la mort les ensevelis, les exploits héroïques de certains, le calvaire de l’identification des victimes… « C’était la guerre » a-t-on coutume de répondre pour excuser ce genre de forfait. Si c’était vrai, alors on s’en souviendrait aujourd’hui, au nom de la Mémoire, comme un mal nécessaire. Mais c’est le contraire qui se produit: on cultive l’amnésie. S’appuyant sur les discours prononcés à l’époque par les autorités religieuses, Vincent Reynouard explique pourquoi…

That day, Paris and its suburbs suffered severe bombing that hit innocent civilians and caused more civilian casualties than the events of November, 13 2015.
