'I forgive him': Rabbi's message to man charged with hate crimes against synagogue

Just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Shalom le Israel Rabbi Boris Tsiprush prepares for the synagogue's weekly Torah study â€“ having just learned that Sacramento County authorities arrested a man they believe targeted a menorah in front of his place of worship. "My reaction, like a person who believes in God, like a rabbiâ€¦ it's: I forgive him," said Tsiprush. A message of forgiveness for 33-year-old Nicholas Sherman. See more in the video above.
