Can you imagine being dropped into 9th century Scandinavia with nothing but an axe, some basic tools, and the knowledge passed down through generations, then being told you need to build a house that will keep your family alive through winters that could drop to negative 40 degrees? Vikings didn't just survive this challenge, they created architectural masterpieces that modern engineers still study today, using techniques so advanced they seem almost impossible for the time period.
