Robert Faurisson Challenges David Irving - https://robert-faurisson.com/history/a-challenge-to-david-irving/
A Challenge to David Irving [Ed: The English version of Prof. Faurisson’s article Un défi à David Irving appeared as reproduced below in the Journal of Historical Review (Winter, 1984; Vol. 5, nos. 2, 3, 4, p. 289-305), a translation inappropriately abridged by publisher Willis Carto, without consulting the author, out of a desire to show consideration towards the subject, David Irving. Irving’s talk at the 1983 conference of the Institute for Historical Review, On Contemporary History and Historiography, appeared on pages 251-288; see also the Spring 1985 issue (Vol. 6, no. 1, p. 8, 122) for “Dr Faurisson’s Comments”*]

At the time of the fifth international Revisionist Conference sponsored by the Institute for Historical Review, held in Los Angeles on September 3-5, 1983, I had the pleasure of meeting David Irving for the first time. Unfortunately, our meeting was too short. We had a brief conversation, and then I listened to his presentation. At the conclusion of his presentation, some of us were able to ask him questions or share with him our comments. There again the time was too short for me to bring up to him all that was on my mind. On the following day, before beginning my own paper, I briefly shared with the audience the questions and comments that I would have directed to David Irving. I expand upon them here. It will come as no surprise that they concern what is called the problem of genocide and the gas chambers.
