Delawarean George Alfred Townsend, one of the youngest war correspondents during the Civil War, following the Lincoln Assassination wrote a series of articles he compiled in his book, The Life Crime And Capture Of John Wilkes Booth in 1865. With first hand knowledge of all of those involved on both sides, he describes the Booth family as being Hebrew. No matter what your political beliefs, the fact that all of these powerful Jews, at a time when Jews were supposedly less than 1% of the US Population surround the Civil War is uncanny. Booths closest friend in Washington was German-Jewish Lawyer SIMON WOLF, later to become President of Bnai Brith, help found the ADL in 1913 33rd Degree Freemason and personal friend of Albert Pike. Wolf would claim at his death he was personally friends with every President from Lincoln to Coolidge. During WWI Wolf would unofficially turn control of his organization to BERNARD BARUCH. Baruch's father, Dr. Simon Baruch, was oddly enough a CSA Medical Officer in South Carolina and an officer in the SC KKK following the war.
