Many Jews were fanatically invested in the Bolshevik revolution of 1917. For some thirty years, until the creation of the State of Israel, they made up a good part of the leading cadres of the Soviet Union. Few Jewish intellectuals today acknowledge the crimes of their fellow human beings in this history.
