Admiral Levine was publicly announced to serve our nation as the first openly transgender four-star officer across any of the 8 uniformed services. Admiral Levine will serve as the highest ranking official of the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, one of the nationâ€™s eight uniformed services, and the first female four-star admiral.

Admiral Levine will lead 6,000 Public Health Service officers who are dedicated to serving our nationâ€™s most underserved and vulnerable population.
