With his finger on the pulse of political reality, Zundel draws a not-so-thinly-veiled comparison between the suppression of free speech in Canada and the former Soviet Union. In a keen analysis of the current situation, Zundel refers to the hardcore leftists as the 'dinosaurs of politics' and points out how 78 of these 'anti-democratic front groups' enlisted as 'useful idiots' have attempted to hijack the legal system for their own purposes, by attempting to criminalize those who disagree with them.
This segment provides a good overview, in his own words, as to 'who is Ernst Zundel?' The comparison to a 'white Martin Luther King' or a 'German Ghandi' will be readily understood by those who have followed the tumultuous career of the flamboyant Zundel. In a classic case of what American writer Laird Wilcox calls 'ritual defamation,' he has also been compared to Moammar Kadhafy or Saddam Hussein.
