It's Alexander (left ) and Hadrian (right) -in case you're wondering.

Yes, Emperor Hadrian oversaw a brutal suppression of the Bar Kokhba Revolt (132–136 CE), which resulted in the mass killing of Jews. Roman forces destroyed 50 fortified towns and 985 villages, and ancient sources like Cassius Dio report 580,000 Jewish deaths, though this number may be exaggerated. Many others died from starvation, disease, or were sold into slavery.

Following the revolt, Hadrian banned Jewish religious practices, executed prominent rabbis (including Rabbi Akiva), expelled Jews from Jerusalem, renamed Judaea to Syria Palaestina, and built a pagan city, Aelia Capitolina, on Jerusalem’s ruins.
