The Holocaust denier Ursula Haverbeck has to start her prison sentence. After her final conviction for incitement to one year in prison, the Berlin public prosecutor's office asked the 94-year-old to go to prison in North Rhine-Westphalia immediately, as a spokesman for the authorities said on Wednesday. The "Neue WestfÃ¤lische" had previously reported [paid content] .
Haverbeck, who lives in Vlotho (Herford district/NRW), had tried to be spared prison by applying for incapacity. According to the prosecutor's office, a prison doctor had confirmed her ability to be held prisoner.
