All that being said, it's probably best to put that DEI talk to rest. Although legit, it really serves no purpose and obviously immediately stirs emotions relating to racism (and to a lesser extent, sexism). Kamala being a DEI hire only relates to her current position as Vice President and you can't actually fault her for it. To my knowledge, she has worked her way up the ladder in her career and after the grueling campaign against her current boss for president, was able to benefit from his desire to get votes from certain demographics. But, as is the case with him forever, he had to open his mouth and actually say it and remove the DEI talk about Kamala from the Racist column and place it in the Fact column.
