I wanted to do my first solo camping trip. I have been camping with my dad many times, but never on my own. So my dad agreed to help me do my first solo camping trip. He helped me plan and pack. He also helped me find a spot way out in the woods where I could be on my own but also have dad close by in case of emergencies. So we found a spot not too far from our off grid cabin and I spent my first full night alone in the woods of Alaska. Pitching my own tent, building my own fire, cooking my own food.
