Israeli-American killed in West Bank amidst rising tensions I DW News

More violence has erupted in the occupied West Bank, this time near the city of Jericho. An Israeli-American man has been killed in his car during a drive-by shooting. Israeli forces say Palestinian gunmen targeted several vehicles before fleeing the scene.

The incident comes a day after two Israelis were killed by a Palestinian in the West Bank town of Hawara. Israeli settlers responded by attacking Palestinian homes and property in the area, killing one Palestinian man. DW correspondent Rebecca Ritters visited the area, where tensions remain high.
