Both Jews and non-Jews are eligible to obtain citizenship in Portugal if they can prove their Sephardic Jewish heritage. Many people don't know that they are eligible for Portuguese passport, actually, many surnames that sound South American, Mexican, are Sephardic Jewish surnames.

In this video Jordan Levy-Bograd, who specializes in the area of immigration to Portugal for descendants of Sephardic Jews, gives few examples of Sephardic Jewish surnames and explains about the process of obtaining Portuguese passport.
