Israel’s tanks are pushing further into the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, searching for Hamas leaders, warning residents to flee from the city centre.

As the heavy airstrikes continue, hospitals say they're struggling to deal with the number of casualties. In the occupied West Bank, Palestinians have been taking part in a general strike, backing calls for an immediate ceasefire.
