War Crimes Trials: The Hague Convention - a great deal of what was prohibited in the Hague Convention (bombing civilians, undefended cities, cultural centers, poisoning people - Dresden and the other 160 German cities) the Allies were the #1 criminals. This was most impressive. The Allies undeniably were GUILTY. Porter goes through the tenants of the Hague Convention. Prolonged detention of the conquered soldiers by the Allies WAS ILLEGAL as well as failure to provide care for the captured defeated soldiers.
