(February 2023) The positive reception to our advocacy buried what little opposition we saw. Ranchers stopped to shake our hands and thank us for speaking out. Young men hailed us from their cars again and again. Couples and grandparents stopped to take our brochures until we ran out. Every member of our chapter beamed with pride and newfound enthusiasm for our cause after our demonstration today, all thanks to our awaking folk.

This was the first implementation of the WLM standard in a public demonstration.
