Egyptian Islamic scholar Sheikh Ahmed Omar Hashem said in a Friday sermon at Al-Azhar that the Muslims must stand as one “in order to extract noble Jerusalem from the hands of the world’s foreign vagabonds. The sermon was aired on Channel 1, (Egypt) on May 14, 2021. Hashem said that “what was taken by force must be restored by force” and that an Islamic force of deterrence must emerge in the Arab and Islamic countries. He said that the Zionists have “defiled (Al-Aqsa) and incited against the religions” with their blasphemy. Hashem continued to pray that Allah will fulfill the prophecy in the hadith, in which the Muslims kill the Jews at the end of times.
