On 5th April 5, 2023, Israeli police raided Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem's Old City, detaining 350 people. This move was met with international condemnation and anger from Gaza, where rockets were launched into Israel shortly after. The site is considered holy by Muslims, Jews and Christians and is a focal point of Israeli-Palestinian tensions.
