Apparently this was done in 2017, regarding a flu shot that he was told had no preservatives, but did and made him sick for 48 hours. If he apologised in 2017, then he's awake, and never gave a covid shot. He's on the right side of history.

Doctor Breaks Down as He Apologizes for Vaccine Ignorance: "I Failed to Give Informed Consent"

Dr. Daniel Neides, a respected educator at Lerner College of Medicine and Case Western Reserve University, has raised urgent concerns about the lack of vaccine education in medical schools.

He reveals a troubling reality: medical students are not taught about vaccine contents, safety records, informed consent, or the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. Instead, they are required to memorize vaccine schedules to pass exams, with no discussion of the nearly $4 billion paid to vaccine-injured patients since 1992.

Neides calls this a failure to provide the fair balance expected in medical practice. Neides also highlights conflicts of interest, noting that providers are often paid to complete vaccine schedules, which may pressure them to prioritize compliance over patient concerns.

Shockingly, patients who question vaccine safety risk being dismissed from medical practices—a practice Neides calls "deplorable and disgusting." He further condemns employers who mandate flu vaccines, citing cases like a father facing job loss just six months from retirement for refusing the shot.

A lack of informed consent is another critical issue. Neides admits that, as a provider, he failed to provide safety information before administering vaccines, only handing out information sheets after the fact. He expresses deep regret for not informing patients about the compensation program or how to report adverse events, apologizing to those he underserved.

Transparency is sorely lacking, Neides argues, as patients reporting vaccine complications are often shamed or dismissed. He contrasts this with standard medical practice: if a patient reports a rash from penicillin, it’s immediately noted as an allergy. Yet, vaccine adverse events are met with skepticism, leaving patients unheard.

Neides’ emotional plea underscores the need for reform in how the medical community handles vaccine education, patient autonomy, and accountability. This is a call to action for transparency, informed consent, and respect for patients’ experiences.
