Canada announces Rwanda embassy

Canada has announced it will open an embassy in Rwanda to combat Russian influence on the African continent. Shortly after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau arrived in the country for a meeting with Commonwealth leaders, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly announced Canada would also appoint an ambassador to the post.
