*** Diane discusses the GOD’S NOT DEAD series of movies on PureFlix (2000-2015), specifically referring to GOD’S NOT DEAD 2, where a teacher answered a student’s question about civil activists like Martin Luther King, Jr., Ghandi and then if Jesus Christ was a civil activist. The teacher quoted some verses, dealing with the question historically. A child relayed it to a parent who contacted the school authorities, and the teacher was being prosecuted, taken to court. During the course of the movie, the pastor was sent a subpoena to provide the gov’t body with his sermons for the past 120 days. Many in the district acquiesced. This pastor did not. About 2 dozen cases were scrolled/listed at the end of the movie. Yes, this became an issue - theat of losing their 501C(3) tax exempt status, but then nothing happened. No further prosecutions seemed to occur of students or teachers who cited biblical references. WHY NOT? I maintain that as a result of the FLOOD of ‘christian’ zionist promotions - John Kagee, Jim and Tammy Baker, 700 Club (Pat Robertson et al), Jerry Falwell and even Billy Graham (et al), the focus shifted from referencing JESUS CHRIST to worshipping at the Israel-First-everything-jew-shrine, in the Scofield Bible way. The jews have hijacked the enforcement, not wanting to (directly) alienate those who believe in Jesus Christ. (Diane unsubscribed from PureFlix due to the probably 50% anti-German, pro-holocaust movies - might explain the shift in focus as the jews zero in on anti-AH and invoke the holocaust victimhood as paramount at the expense of any and all other tragedies.)
