From "BuJews" and "HinJews," to Ram Dass and the modern Israeli Hummus Trail, we'll explore the role of psychedelics in what draws so many Jews to Eastern traditions. We'll look at the hippie counterculture and the post-Holocaust trauma that motivated many Jews of the 60s and 70s to seek out spirituality in other religions, as well as the many Israelis today who travel to India as a form of exploration, escape and processing post-army.
