Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked Muslim soldiers for their efforts defending the country since the Russian invasion. At a Ramadan Iftar dinner outside Kyiv, Zelenskyy handed out medals, and vowed to liberate Crimea--annexed by Russia in 2014, and home to a Muslim ethnic minority.
