CDC Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, expresses support for The Community Guide and the work of the Community Preventive Services Task Force (CPSTF) during the June CPSTF meeting. She notes the value of providing communities systematic review evidence on the effectiveness and economic benefits of community-based intervention approaches. She also describes four critical areas for CDC investment: strengthening the public health workforce, preparing for future health threats, data modernization, and ensuring health equity.
