The Part They Didn’t Mean to Admit — Germanic Paganism in Nazi Germany | The Nazi Expedition (National Geographic Documentary)

This is one of those rare times a mainstream documentary accidentally lets the truth slip through the cracks.
In this episode of “The Nazi Expedition” (originally aired on National Geographic and other networks), the narration actually admits something almost none of them ever do:
? the swastika wasn’t “invented by the Nazis.”
? it’s an ancient Germanic symbol tied to their pagan gods and ancestral traditions.
? and that Nazi leadership openly embraced Germanic paganism — not Christianity.
Of course, like most of these WWII documentaries, it’s packed with the usual propaganda and over-the-top mythology that gets thrown at anything “Nazi-related.” But buried in the noise is a fascinating and uncomfortable fact for modern narratives: Himmler and others explicitly rejected Judeo-Christian frameworks and pushed to resurrect old Germanic traditions — blood, soil, ancestors, symbols.
“The swastika reflects Nazi belief that Germany’s rooted in Pagan Nordic tradition.”
“Himmler deeply resents Judeo-Christianity.”
“He seeks again for sources of strength that have been buried for 2000 years.”
For years, Christian apologists have tried to paint Hitler as some “Christian leader.” This documentary, ironically, helps destroy that fairytale.
Watch carefully — between the propaganda lines, you’ll catch the truth they can’t completely erase.
