Video of Israeli POW captured by the Syrian Arab Army , the exact date of the footage is 17/10/1973 . Alawite Muslim Generals during 1973 war have commanded Two out of Five Syrian Army divisions : source : Prof Gilbert Achcar's book "The People Want: A Radical Exploration of the Arab Uprising" page 174 . it's matter of fact the Alawite generals and fighters were the most successful and brutal in this war .
