The Israeli Mossad had got information about a new very effective air defense system in Syria.
During the next days, the Zionist Air Force sent swarms of 63 F-4 Phantoms over the skies of Tartous city west of Syria.
The answer of the Syrian Air Defense forces was nothing more than the ordinary anti-aircraft fire.
Israel believed the non-effectiveness of the Syrian air defense systems.
16 days later, exactly the 6th of October , 1973. The October Liberation War, known as Yom Kippur War in Israel had took place.
Zionist warplanes were falling on the Syrian soil, like the leaves of trees in autumn, by the hands of the Syrian Army forces using the legendary Soviet-made Sam-6 Kvadrat Air Defense System.
