Credit Suisse shares tumble - sending US and Europe markets into red

Share prices have tumbled again in the troubled Credit Suisse bank - sending markets across Europe and the United States into the red.

US stocks tumbled despite efforts by Wall Street to shore up another vulnerable domestic lender - First Republic - with a cash injection of almost Â£25 billion.

It shows there is little confidence that the banking sector crisis is anywhere near over.
