CHAPTER 15: THE HUTTERITE COLONY— CHRISTIAN GERMAN FARMERS
*** Here, a Hutterite farmer takes his horse-drawn buggy to market. The founder of the Hutterites, Jacob Hutter, established the Hutterite colonies on the basis of the Schleitheim Confession, a classic Anabaptist statement of faith of 1527. Since the death of Hutter in 1536, the beliefs of the Hutterites, especially those espousing a community of goods and nonresistance, have resulted in hundreds of years of diaspora in many countries.

Jewish-narrated history books and documentaries have vilified the German people, when the reality is, Germans are some of the smartest, hardest working, peaceful, loving, friendly Christian people you’ll ever meet. There is a reason why the finest automobiles, machinery, and equipment in the world comes from Germany. It goes without saying if something says “Made in China” or “Made in Mexico,” it’s “cheap lousy junk,” as my Dad would say. On the other hand, if it says “Made in Germany,” you can bet, as my Dad would say, “It’s a real dandy.” When I was in high school, Dad took me out to the Hutterite colony of Warden, Washington, about 15 miles from us. Dad was friends with one of their leaders, and he welcomed us and showed us around. Dad admired them for being the most successful farmers in the entire state. They engineered the world’s largest self-propelled potato digger (The Bigger-Digger) and had a company in Idaho build it. Unlike the primitive Amish, who still use horses and buggies and plow with mules, the Hutterites believe in using the best and most modern equipment money can buy. To say the least, we were impressed with their close-knit community and successful farm operation. They all live in similar houses lined up in a large rectangular shape, with a community kitchen and dining hall in the middle. Their kitchen is top-ofthe-line with walk-in freezers, as they do their own butchering and baking. Everyone in the colony speaks fluent German and English, and worships together as Anabaptist Christians.

3. The first duty of a citizen is to work. All citizens have equal rights & duties.

6. Property reform to give small farmers their land.
7. Improve education so all Germans can get a job.
8. Improve people’s health by making a law for them to participate in sports.
9. Newspapers must be free of foreign [Jewish] influence.
10. Freedom of religion.
