President Harry S. Truman was a 32̊ Freemason, but after dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, in 1945, killing over 220,000 innocent civilians, including women and children, he was promoted to a 33̊ Freemason. There was no reason to drop these bombs killing innocent people. American intelligence had broken the Japanese codes and knew the Japanese were trying to negotiate a surrender to end the war. Even Truman’s Chief of Staff Admiral William D. Leahy, wrote in his 1950 memoir: “The use of this barbarous weapon at Hiroshima and Nagasaki was of no material assistance in our war against Japan. The Japanese were already defeated and ready to surrender … in being the first to use it, we … adopted an ethical standard common to the barbarians of the Dark Ages. I was taught to make war in that fashion, and wars cannot be won by destroying women and children.” Shortly after dropping the bombs, killing hundreds of thousands, and considering all those who died of radiation poisoning after the blasts, thus having cancer, deformities, and genetic damage done that recent DNA testing has revealed to the remaining survivors, Truman declared: “[T]his is the greatest thing in history.” What kind of man bombs innocent civilians and brags how great it is? U.S. Admiral William “Bull” Halsey Jr. publicly declared in 1946: “The first atomic bomb was an unnecessary experiment. … It was a mistake to ever drop it … [the scientists] had this toy and they wanted to try it out, so they dropped it.” Even the German-hating murderous tyrant, Eisenhower, said: “It wasn’t necessary to hit them with that awful thing.”
